Another new show from Jamie, or to be accurate – a compliation of the 5 minute recipes fillers that appear during most evenings in Channel 4.

The program is to unite efforts to promote new fish groups and protect cod, haddock and tuna from over fishing. Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall, Gordon Ramsey and Heston Blumenthal.

The series includes a number of small fillers and Jamie is trying to convince us that we can make a difference by cooking different things.

Jamie's 30 minute meals Program Four Thursday Channel 4 Greek Meal

Jamie Oliver Greek style meal – from Jamie's 30 Minute Meals

Today: Spinach and feta filo pie, cumcumber and tomato salad and then choco-nut coated ice cream.

Start with pine nuts into a heated pan, toast and get the nutty flavour. Toast em baby!

Take five eggs, feta cheese, cheddar cheese, season with lots of pepper and some salt. Some dried oregano, mix all together. Fire in the pine nuts, mix.

Olive oil in a pan and add loads of spinach, a short time. Add nutmeg wonderful!!Jamie has really selected his new set of recipies so brilliantly. Just watch his program on Channel 4 HD see the difference it makes on an HD television. The ingredients, their careful selection – it all adds up to delicious meals. Forget about all the other stuff, watch the show and see for yourself. When a chef puts this amount of heart and effort into their work, it shows, so ignore me and see for yourself.

Back to the recipie, we need the filo pastry and put the mix into the filo. Cook very quickly. For full details see the Spinach recipie here. 

Next up vanilla ice cream with a crumble of chocolate, hazelnuts and coffee (use real beans and grind to a powder). Food process the chocolate and the hazelnuts. Mix the two and put a blob of vanalla onto the mix and make a coated ball. Repeat.

For the salad use olives, buy them with stones in and remove. Use balsamc vinegar to give the best results.
