In this Christmas special, Gordon Ramsay – speciality chef shows the two distinct sides to his cooking – in his restaurants, where the dishes are intricate, and at home, where the food he enjoys is easier and faster to make. He prepares some of his favourite seasonal food, including eggs Benedict, beef fillet with salsa verde, and smoky pulled pork with chipotle mayonnaise.
The chef embraces the holiday spirit and with the help of his children prepares some of his favourite hot and spicy recipes that are ideal for the festive break. The easy-to-make dishes include Mexican eggs and big bowls of noodle soup for lunch, aromatic whole crispy roast duck for dinner, and a dessert of banana tarte Tatin.
Episode Three:
Gordon shows how to cook some of his favourite comfort food dishes, including beef stew with dumplings, tasty sausage hot pot, shepherd’s pie, and a sticky pudding with creamy butterscotch sauce.

A tangy fruit salad for breakfast with clean fresh zingy flavours.
Gordon introduces an unusual idea, in fact he has two, a fruit salad for breakfast and making the salad spicy.
In the salad Gordon uses a finely chopped chilli, tamarind and palm sugar, plus Gordon’s sercet weapon lime. All rounded of with roasted nuts and chopped pineapple.

Clam noodle soup and banana Fritters
Lemongrass is the basis of this dish and is used a lot in Thai cookery.
Noodle soups quite varied, complete food.. in Asia with dumplings.
