A whole rangeof classic recipes from Mary Berry who has included bites for quick eats, plates for sharing, great food for starters, favourite recipes for family meals, suppers for those later feasts, roasts from Mary’s classics, puddings that are hot and dreamy and an section on the UK favourite afternoon tea.

A tangy fruit salad for breakfast with clean fresh zingy flavours.
Gordon introduces an unusual idea, in fact he has two, a fruit salad for breakfast and making the salad spicy.
In the salad Gordon uses a finely chopped chilli, tamarind and palm sugar, plus Gordon’s sercet weapon lime. All rounded of with roasted nuts and chopped pineapple.
2. Lunch
Clam noodle soup and banana Fritters
Lemongrass is the basis of this dish and is used a lot in Thai cookery.
Noodle soups quite varied, complete food.. in Asia with dumplings.
3. Dinner

Jamie shows a takeaway lover how to make a beautiful lamb burger for a fraction of the price of his usual Friday night fast food treat and will surprise a food waster in her home and shows her how to make delicious things from the bread she normally chucks away.

Then following the theme of saving money by making your own take away, Jamie shows a takeaway lover how to make a vegetable korma with cauliflower pilau.
The take away food outlets won’t like it as Jamie can show how to make a take away for a fraction of the price of ordering it.
